Each month DDV schedules social events for staff and attorneys who choose to participate. The month of July was dinner at Rosebud Randolph, where we all appreciated a delectable variety of Italian dishes and features from their steakhouse. Everyone gathered upstairs at the cocktail club for curated cocktails and fine wine with a view from the rooftop patio overlooking Millennium Park. What a fantastic event! The culture at DDV is to enjoy what you do, get to know your co-workers, and celebrate life’s successes to the fullest. Other firms may take a more conservative approach to their work environments. But just because estate planning and elder law topics are serious matters doesn’t mean we can’t live a little once the workday is over.
