Shannon Briggs was invited to speak at the National Business Institute (NBI) on the topic of Trust Administration on June 23rd. This is quite an honor since NBI offers continuing education courses, state-specific online seminars, and national webinars covering 35 areas of law for attorneys and firms like us. Shannon is an Associate Attorney at DDV Law Ltd. who advocates for elders and people with disabilities in the legal practice of Elder Law and Estate Planning, including Special Needs, Guardianships, and Probate and Estate Administration. Shannon also serves on the faculty of the National Business Institute, where she educates other attorneys on the probate process and tax issues arising from guardianship and probate cases. Shannon is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the South Suburban Estate Planning Council. Shannon is not just a great attorney; she is a life-long Chicago resident who enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with her friends and family. DDV Law considers her part of our family too!
