Amy Delaney, a founding partner at DDV Law Ltd., recently spoke at the National Business Institute (NBI) to discuss A to Z Trust Administrations on June 23rd. NBI is not the only place where Amy has shared her expertise. She is a professor of law at John Marshall Law School, where she taught classes on special needs planning and elder law. Frequently quoted in media outlets such as The Daily Southtown, Chicago Tribune, and Chicago Hospital News, she was also featured on PBS to discuss elder law issues. Amy Delaney often lectures on the topic of Elder Law, advising and educating other attorneys and community organizations through her service to the faculty of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the National Business Institute, and the Illinois State Bar Association. Amy has drafted legislation to protect seniors, people with disabilities, and nursing home residents. She is a legal expert residing with her family in her hometown of Chicago and working with her husband, Michael Delaney, who happens to be another partner with DDV Law, Ltd.
